This restaurant was wonderful! I went with a friend for lunch on Saturday . Our waiter was helpful with suggestions about menu items. We ordered the beto box and the Yumi roll. The bento box offer a taste of many various types of food. Everything was incredibly fresh. I would definitely go to this restaurant again.
Title: Johnson High School Band10/1/2013 4:57:33 PM
My name is Andrea Gabel-Hsu. My son, Nat, is a member of the Claudia Taylor Johnson High School Band, here in San Antonio. I am a member of the Memory Book Committee, and am writing to you in hope that you will support our students by purchasing an ad for your business. Each year we make a memory book for the students. Inside are inspirational words from our band directors and senior students, as well as photos from each event. This year is a very special year, in that the band has been invited to participate in the 125th anniversary of the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, California (January 1, 2014). We would love to make this the biggest and most beautiful memory book to date. We will have the entire book in color, and would like to offer you the opportunity to have a few students (in full uniform if you would like) in your ad. We have several parents who can help with photography as well. If you would be interested, I can email or deliver to you the ad prices, the tax deductible information, and covers of the past 2 years’ memory books. I hope you will find this to be a wonderful opportunity for you to promote your business while supporting the award winning Claudia Taylor Johnson Band. I would be more than happy to talk with you should you have any questions or concerns. I am also happy to come by and personally pick up your ad information, and/or help coordinate photos with our students if you would like. Thank you for your time and consideration,Andrea Gabel-Hsu(210) 563-2087 natphilip@yahoo.com

Title: Overcharged1/23/2014 12:36:59 PM
I ordered some take out yesterday and I believe I was overcharged. I got the Terriyaki Steak and the Rock and Roll sushi. I was charged 31 some-odd $$$. That doesn't seem correct from your menu. I've been there a couple of times and really enjoy the food, but I think there was a mistake. :(

Been craving sashimi for quite some time now so my bf picked Sushishima since it was closer to home and had good reviews. Came here for dinner on New Year's day---kinda empty, but not too bad. I was surprised to see how brightly lit the place was----was hoping for a more dim, romantic dinner with the boyfriend. Anyway, server took awhile to get to our table. I usually don't understand the sushi menu too well (and can barely pronounce 90% of the sushi names) so I try not to give our server a hard time by asking a lot of questions. I noticed there were a TON of sushi options, but not much for someone who was craving only sashimi. Sure, there was the combos, but you have to pay at least $25-$35 for that. I was hoping to try a smaller sashimi sampler. Ended up ordering the sushi & sashimi combo ($25) which consisted of 10 sushi pieces (imitation crab/shrimp) and 5 sets of 3 sashimi pieces (yellow tail, salmon, white salmon, forgot the rest)....., and 5 sashimi pieces over rice. Presentation was nice, but not a "wow" factor. I think most sushi places are the same, but presentation or creativity on the plates makes them stand out a little more. Got my sashimi fix, but I definitely want more sashimi options. On to the next!

Bright light & low music made it easy for others to stare at you & make you feel awkward during your meal. Got my sashimi fix, but I definitely want more sashimi options. On to the next!
